Accelerated Reader

Click the bookworm to take an AR test now!

Accelerated Reader (AR) is an important part of reading practice for fluency and comprehension in our third grade classroom.  Students are given a reading range in order to select books library that are within their independent reading rangeStudents read at home nightly so they are ready to take their AR tests the next day at school.  If a student passes, they return the book to the library for a new book.  If a student fails, they must reread their book and retest to pass.  I will send  notes home on Fridays letting you know their AR achievements for the week.
